Dig Deeper   There's two things we want to notice about this short psalm.

It's true that God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie , but notice this

But notice that these words of admonition do more than just warn and threaten a people who would most

Notice here that as Moses prepares Israel to move in that he mentions nothing about the hard work or

Notice also that all people will come to acknowledge and worship God.

Notice how often (almost always!) the Israelite's attitude is controlled by their appetites!

But as Jesus explains the process here in Matthew 18, notice who the primary active agent is.

But notice who it is that's aligning you: God Himself is sanctifying you, making your life reflect who

So notice how seriously God takes hypocritical worship!

Then Isaiah adds some poetic repetition to add emphasis: He will be raised AND lifted up AND highly exalted
